- As fate would have it, I am forever blessed to be the mother of one exceptional daughter, Maggie and to be married to my high school sweetheart, Big Ian. Amidst the constant pandemonium and chaos that I have somehow become accustom to, I am also a 1st grade teacher and fighting stage 4 lung and bone cancer...and still standing!

We are sad to hear about Lola! She was so lucky to have Maggie (and Monica and Ian) for the short time she was here. No puppy was ever loved more or treated better!
I'm so sorry about Lola. But, I'm glad that she felt loved in her last weeks with your family!
Oh My Gosh! I had no idea. I thought she was fine. I am so sorry to hear the news.
