Advent Box

One of Maggie's favorite Christmas traditions is the Advent box. God forbid if we don't do it! Because she has such strong feelings towards it...I found myself crawling through the attic past midnight last night looking for it despite we just got back into town and not even ready to think about decorating for Christmas! I don't think it's because she gets a little prize every morning (and the first week is usually old Halloween candy!). She just loves the routine and anticipation of it all. So today on the first day of Advent, we celebrated with an old Tootsie Roll!
