Maggie wakes me up this morning asking if we have any Borax in the house. She wanted to have a science experiment and claimed she NEEDED Borax before she could go any further! It was a rainy day and we had little planned for a change, so I agreed...but only after she had the correct recipe before starting. She quickly Googled and copied the correct measurements so it was off to Walgreens! Maggie had a fabulous time!
Hmmm...I recall Maggie and I tried this. Maybe, just maybe, we did not have the right ingredients. A bit of a "Flub" in our Flubber, but we just laughed and had a good time playing in the goo and using the flub[ber] to spell out our names on paper complete with glitter on top. The goo never really dried and was too wet and heavy for the paper, but we will always have the best part...enjoyable memories of time spent together on the fun experiment. With loving thoughts, Aunt Karen
As fate would have it, I am forever blessed to be the mother of one exceptional daughter, Maggie and to be married to my high school sweetheart, Big Ian. Amidst the constant pandemonium and chaos that I have somehow become accustom to, I am also a 1st grade teacher and fighting stage 4 lung and bone cancer...and still standing!
