day of the elephants

This was not the reason we were at the zoo today...but it was nice to see them!

I'm so glad I was able to take Maggie to a "behind the scenes" look at the elephant exhibit today! It was worth it...even riding around in a wheelchair! Maggie was in total heaven and in such awe. I believe this was the first time she actually got to be so close to an elephant...close enough to touch! Wonderful day.
