Maggie and I went to see author Kate DiCamillo today. She had fabulous stories to tell and Maggie was able to get an autographed copy of her newest book, The Magician's Elephant!

Elephants are magic! Something so deep, so knowing, so majestic and yet so earthy! It seems one can see the joys and sorrows of the world in their intelligent yet guarded dark eyes.
